Balance 1.0 Pendant
A minimal, sculptural suspended light composed of a larger, 180mm diffuser of handblown Czech glass on a short horizontal stem opposite a smaller, 110mm diffuser on a longer, downward arching stem. The glass diffusers are available in both “dipped” glass, featuring the SkLO double-dipped flame-polished mouth and “textured” glass, featuring a soft, frosted finish and subtle sculpted vertical ridges.

About Balance 1.0 Pendant
Glass shaped by hand
The glass spheres of the Balance 1.0 Pendant are formed by hand, allowing them to be slightly imperfect to express their handmade origins. The “dipped” glass options feature an irregular, open mouth, created by double-dipping the piece into the molten glass crucible, followed by breaking the piece from the pipe and fire-polishing the opening – a purposeful expression of craft and the act of glassblowing. The “textured” glass diffusers have no opening. Their surface is frosted and features a subtle pattern of lines etched into the glass for a moody and classic look.
Curving lines
The shapes of the Balance 1.0 Pendant are a triumph in asymmetry and sculptural form. The fluidity of the curving lines and handblown glass diffusers give this fixture a strong presence in any space.
Kinetic Movement
The Balance Pendants can be used individually as single fixtures where a sculptural presence is required. Yet they offer a unique ability to transform when composed into groups, staggered in heights, and layered in space. Their combined symmetry and asymmetry suggest kinetic energy and a sense of movement.
